Dev log 12


It's been a few weeks since I've posted anything but we have been up to quite a bit. We played Disney theme park ride inspired games in class today, learning about critical and fundamental game design aspects for board games. The matching element on haunted mansion was reminiscent of the Japanese game practice of awase, which meant matching(pg.74) . The game also reminded our group of sushi go as a lot of the matching practices and patters were reminiscent like how the musicians all did their thing and how the paintings had different rules, and how the headless horseman interacted with the art cards. 


All of this inspired our group in making our own games of what we were looking into for making ours. I created a cave delving idea with some basic ideas which I'd flesh out in the upcoming week, ryan made a medieval theme which was dope. We will have to see what we land on though.
